BMO InvestorLine Announces New Mutual Fund Research Tools

Today BMO InvestorLine has announced that online Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) investing has gotten easier with enhancements to BMO’s mutual fund research offerings. These enhancements will expand the ability of clients to generate new investment ideas and identify top performing mutual funds.

BMO InvestorLine’s mutual fund research combines Morningstar’s wealth of daily mutual fund information with features that include:

  • Unbiased analysis
  • Analyst insight articles
  • Top and bottom fund performers
  • Fund reports

Ultimately, with these new enhancements, BMO InvestorLine clients will be able to make better mutual fund investing decisions.

What are the new enhancements to BMO InvestorLine?

The enhancements include new screening tools, access to Morningstar reports and an enhanced site layout.

The new resources include:

  • New Screening Tool
    The new Fund Screener and Fund Quickrank tools allow investors to contrast highly customized searched to narrow down between the choices of funds, while at the same time revealing strong investment opportunities.
  • New Layout
    The BMO InvestorLine’s new website layout makes it easy to view on a tablet or notebook. The special features like smart search will make it easier to find the funds you are looking to invest into by dynamically generating matching results as your type fund names and key words.
  • New Interactive Morningstar Quicktake Reports
    Morningstar Quicktake Reports will be providing essential company information and data, which includes the Morningstar Rating, performance history and risk adjusted return potential.

These new enhancements reflect BMO’s continuing commitment in providing investors with access to the most innovative online investment tools and research.

On a side note, BMO InvestorLine has been awarded the Top bank owned online broker from The Globe and Mail in 2008, 2009 and 2011.
