It just came to my attention that Scotiabank recently launched of a new comprehensive ScotiaLife Travel Insurance Program, which has been developed to better meet the needs of its customers.
I find this to be a fitting article because there are plenty of people who go away for the holidays, and in a couple months it will be reading week for post-secondary students, which is the season everyone goes on vacation.
Having travel insurance is important, and it is even more important you have travel insurance that suits your needs.
What is the new travel insurance product suite?
The new ScotiaLife Travel Insurance program offers comprehensive travel insurance plans, which will provide customers with more options than before when selecting the right coverage. Essentially, customers will be able to select the right travel insurance for their specific needs.
ScotiaLife Finance will offer medical and non-medial coverage with a variety of plans, which include Single Trip, Multi Trip, and All Inclusive. Some of the insurance benefits will include:
- Emergency Medical coverage
- Trip Cancellation & Interruption coverage
- Baggage Loss and Damage coverage
- Flight Accident coverage
- Travel Accident coverage
- Medical Concierge Services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
In additional to what I listed above, ScotiaLife Financial offers a full range of life and health insurance products, which includes:
- Critical Illness,
- Health insurance
- Dental Insurance
- Accidental death insurance.
Mark Cummings, Senior Vice-President and Heads, Insurance Canada, Scotiabank explained that through the new ScotiaLife Pogram, Scotiabank has expanded their product suite to provide customers with a much broader set of coverage to choose from for their specific travel needs.
I am glad to see Scotiabank create a suite of insurance to provide customers exactly what they are looking for.
I cannot wait to see what else they produce for customers in the future.
