A while ago I wrote about what you can get if you were to switch to Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). I decided to start looking into what other banks were offering to people if they were to switch their banking.
Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) is offering you up to 55,000 Aeroplan Miles when you switch your banking to them.
In order to earn these Aeroplan Miles, you have to open the following products:

You earn the rewards, you have to open a CIBC Unlimited Chequing Account, and enroll it into the Aeroplan Miles reward feature by October 31st, 2011.

Once you have opened a CIBC Unlimited Chequing Account, you are set to move onto this promotion.

Your other choice involves opening a new secured CIBC Personal Line of Credit or CIBC Home Power line of credit; this will earn you 15,000 Aeroplan Miles.
You have by December 30th, 2011 to qualify for these rewards.
CIBC Aerogold Visa Infinite Card
The CIBC Aerogold Visa Infinite Card is a top of the line credit card that bestows the user with exceptional benefits. When you apply and receive the CIBC Aerogold Visa Infinite Card, you earn a welcome bonus of 15,000 Aeroplan Miles on your first purchase.
This particular promotion is available year round; it has no deadline, which makes it great because you do not need to rush into picking a credit card for the sake of bonus reward miles.
CIBC AeroMortgage
You have a chance to turn your mortgage payments into valuable rewards; earn a one time bonus of 15,000 Aeroplan Miles, plus get ongoing Aeroplan Miles with every mortgage payments.
If you do everything I have listed, and take the route that earns you the most reward miles, you can earn 55,000 Aeroplan Miles. This is not a bad deal, especially when you consider you are getting these reward miles for simply changing your banking to CIBC, and continuing your day to day life.
What do you think of the rewards earned when you switch to CIBC?
