When you apply before April 30th,2010 you will be able to receive a 30,000 bonus of Scotia Reward Points.

You will receive a special introductory annual fee of $99 for the first year. In case you did not know, the regular annual fee is $110 for the ScotiaGold Passport Visa Card. Realistically you are only saving $11 but you are saving something nonetheless.

How the bonus Scotia Reward Points work is that you will receive 20,000 Scotia Reward Points on your first purchase. You will then receive another 10,000 Bonus Scotia Reward Points after your first year renewal, which will give you a grand total of 30,000 Bonus Scotia Reward Points.

Now keep in mind that the 20,000 Bonus Scotia Reward Points will not be awarded immediately, these points will be awarded after your first purchase within two months of the account open date. The 10,000 Bonus Scotia Reward Points will be awarded after being charged a second annual fee.
