It will not be long until it is more popular than online banking especially when the whole concept of banking on the go will be a great selling point to it.

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) has recently launched an iPhone application that will enable CIBC clients to check their bank accounts and do certain transactions straight from their phone.

I have to say that this is a brilliant step CIBC has taken into technology. Normally for people to even do what CIBC’s iPhone app is offering, they would have to go through their browser on their smart phone and log in through their respective bank’s website.

I for one do that method as there is no iPhone app for the Bank of Montreal at the moment. I think it will only be a matter of time before every bank has their own iPhone app, or even an application for the popular smart phones on the market.

With technology advancing every day, the amount a bank customer can accomplish on their phones can go beyond logging into their bank account.

Canadians might be behind in mobile banking at the moment but I think it will not be long before we are among the top.

My favorite weapon of choice is the samurai sword. I use it to cut my chicken during dinner, cut my hair and periodically carve my name into people’s backs when I am bored. I love meditating on top of a 15ft high pole and eating those sushi’s with smoked salmon on top.
