New research by the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) suggests that weary are divided on the future of the country’s economy; however there is much more hope for the year ahead.

According to the data, 60% of people across Canada feel that the will improve in 2010 after 2009 being spent in a recessionary hangover from the global of 2008.

The results of the questioned on a number of issues which include how they felt about .

The shows that 21% of are worried that someone in their immediate household is in danger of losing their job.

This number is down from the 27% in the previous month, which is a good sign that the number of people who feel endangered by layoffs is decreasing as the economy begins to grow again.

The survey, which is the RBC’s Canadian Consumer Outlook was based on an of 1,018 aged 18 and older holding a margin of error was 3.1 , 19 times out of 20.

The overall results were positive as prospects around the are improving, with in Canada also improving as well.
