TD Asset Management Terminates TD Private North American Equity Fund

td logo2 150x150 TD Asset Management Terminates TD Private North American Equity FundTD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM) have announced today its plans to terminate operations of the TD Private North Equity Fund effectively today.

The TD Private North Equity Fund will cease offering units for purchase and will be terminated on or about February 26th, 2010.

The TD Private North Equity Fund is being terminated as TDAM is streamlining the TD Private Funds offering.

Unit holders have the option to redeem or switch their holdings in the TD Private North Equity Fund for settlement on or prior to the termination date. TDAM will be liquidating the holdings of the TD Private North Equity Fund at fair market value, determine distributions and, on or about February 26th, 2010, distribute the net assets to remaining unit holders.

Unit holders of the TD Private North Equity Fund will be contacted and provided with the necessary information outlining details of the termination.

Private Investment Counsel portfolio managers will be working with their clients to determine alternative investment solutions seeing as the TD Private North Equity Fund is being terminated.
