BMO Releases YouTube Channel

BMO Capital Markets has launched a new YouTube Channel, that holds videos of key events and commentary from BMO Capital Markets experts.
Thatis right folks, you read correctly, a YouTube Channel. I think this a great way to get information out to the public, and I expect this to be a great tool and we might see other banks launch similar resources.
Initially, the YouTube Channel is offering “The Week Ahead” from BMO Capital Markets Economics, that will be posted every Monday.
One of BMO’s economists presents an overview of recent economic news, upcoming data data announcements and predictions for teh coming week.
There are a wide range of potential topics covered, and this includes:
- What is affecting the Canadian dollar?
- Housing – latest numbers and trends
- Employment – what is after the recession?
- Interest rates – how long will they be this low?
Although the YouTube Channel has been out since the end of August, you will find that it did not follow the weekly release schedule. This will change, and hopefully this article will raise awareness of a great resource to use.
