scotiaBank 150x150 Scotiabank Brings The Stanley Cup to Branches Across CanadaI found this quite interesting, especially for hockey lovers everywhere across Canada.

The Stanley Cup, Canada’s oldest and most famous sports trophy began its national tour last weekend in Manitoba as part of the Scotiabank’s Celebration of Hockey Tour.

If you are a big hockey fan, you have a chance to view an iconic piece of hockey history. This year, the Stanley Cup will be accompanied by historical hockey artifacts from the Hockey Hall of Fame that showcases the evolution of this great game.

The Celebration of Hockey Tour is one of many Scotiabank Hockey Club programs that give Canadians in smaller communities the chance to get close and see hockey’s beloved Stanley Cup, which for most is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Scotiabank Hockey Club was launched on October 1st, with the beginning of the 2009-2010 NHL hockey season.

Any child who enrols in the Scotiabank Getting There Savings Program will receive a Scotiabank Hockey Club Savings Tin and will be offered membership in the Scotiabank Hockey Club featuring free magazines and web access filled with hockey tips and chances to win great hockey related prizes.
