bank montreal1  BMO Investments Inc. Finalizes Amalgamation with Guardian Group of Funds Ltd.Effectively on November 1st, 2009, BMO Investments Inc. and Guardian Group of Funds Ltd have amalgamated to form one single entity.

BMO Investments Inc. is now the manager and trustee of all BMO Guardian Funds and will continue to at as manager of the BMO Mutual Funds.

The change will allow both BMO Mutual Funds and BMO Guardian Funds to operate within more streamlined organizational structure, providing administrative and cost benefits.

BMO Guardian Funds

BMO Guardian Funds is a diversified family of funds that includes a broad range of domestic and global investment options covering a wide array of asset classes. BMO Guardian Funds are being offered by Guardian Group of Funds Ltd, which is a member of BMO Financial Group and it is part of the its Private Client Group.

BMO Mutual Funds

BMO Mutual Funds are offered by BMO Investment Inc.; it is a member of the BMO Financial Group and part of the Private Client Group. The Private Client Group provides wealth management services in both the U.S. and in Canada; total assets were under management and administration of $230 billion as of July 31, 2009.
