TD Asset Management Inc. Makes Changes to the TD Emerald Treasure Management Fund Line-Up

TD2 TD Asset Management Inc. Makes Changes to the TD Emerald Treasure Management Fund Line UpTD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM) announced on September 25th plans to terminate the TD Emerald Canadian Treasury Management – Financial Institution Fund.

TDAM will also close the Investor Class Units of the TD Emerald Canadian Treasury Management Fund; TD Emerald Canadian Treasury Management – Government of Canada Fund; and TD Emerald U.S. Dollar Treasury Management Fund.

This will all be effective as of September 25th, 2009; the TD Emerald Treasury Management – Financial Institution Fund will no longer be offering units for purchase and the Remaining Funds will cease being offering Investor Class units for purchase.

On November 25th, 2009, the TD Emerald Canadian Treasury Management – Financial Institution Fund and Investor Class of the Remaining Fund will be terminated.

Institutional Class Units of the TD Emerald Canadian Treasury Management – Government Canada Fund and TD Emerald U.S. Dollar Treasury Management Fund will still be available for purchase.

Due to reduced client demand, the decision was made to terminate the TD Emerald Treasury Management – Financial Institution Fund and the Investor Class of the Remaining Funds.

Prior to or on November 25th, 2009, unit holders can redeem or switch their holdings of the terminating fund or terminating class for settlement.

TDAM will be selling the holdings of TD Emerald Treasury Management – Financial Institution Fund and the Investor Class of the Remaining Funds while distributing the net assets to the remaining unit holders.

Unit holders of the TD Emerald Treasury Management – Financial Institution Fund and the Investor Class of the Remaining Funds will be contacted by a representative with further information concerning the termination.
