Great Rewards Available with the ScotiaGold Passport Visa
I wrote about Scotiabank’ ScotiaGold Passport Visa card a few weeks ago which is the top of a line travel visa that is offered at Scotiabank. I won’t go into detail of what is offered in the card but rather a new offer I have found today.
When you apply before July 31st, 2009 you can receive 10,000 bonus Scotia Rewards when you make your first purchase. This offer was not around when I wrote about the ScotiaGold Passport Visa card; it is now and it can possibly help start your travel plans for the summer.
Normally the interest rate for the ScotiaGold Passport Visa card 19.5% but at this point in time you get an introductory interest rate of 9.99% for the first nine months.
In case you were planning on taking a trip this summer, 10,000 points will not be enough but with dollar/ point rewards it won’t take long to get enough to go on a trip.
How it works is that every $100 = 10,000 points so a trip for $781 will be 78,100 points. Seems like a lot but it all depends when you buy your vacation; at the right time you can save a lot and possibly use your points to pay for all or part of your trip.
I figured this would be a good addition to the ScotiaGold Passport Visa card I spoke about earlier; now here is another reason to get this credit card.
