You can get either a charge and credit cards which are designed to suit your lifestyle. The beauty of a charge card is that you can manage your finances as you have to pay your balance out by the end of the month.With the AMEX aeroplan plus gold card you can earn up to 25% more aeroplan miles on your gas, groceries and just about everything else when you use the credit card.

So aeroplan miles work but you earning 1 point for every $1 of purchases up to $10,000. When you spend over $10,000 annually you earn 1.25 points of every $1. You are able to earn twice the aeroplan miles at over 150 Aeroplan partners.

When you first use your credit card you receive 10,000 bonus aeroplan miles a a welcoming bonus.

With the aeroplan plus gold card you have no preset spending limit on your account which can allow you to manage your finances more efficiently. Keep in mind this is a charge card I am talking about.

You can have 2 free supplementary cards which can help you earn your miles faster. In case of a lost or stolen card there is an emergency card replacement which can be issued within 48 hours.

As an added feature on the AMEX aeroplan plus gold card you have car rental theft and damage insurance which can allow you to save while travelling.

There is an annual fee of $120 and finance charges of 30% per annum.
